Dean Penoyer's '73 Omega

I bought this car back in 1989 for $300.00. It was in really bad shape and it searved as my high school beater. it has seen a lot of rough friday and saturday nights during that time. after i graduated in 1991 i started fixing the car up. now the car is what you see in these pictures. the color of the car is midnight blue.

The engine is a 355 olds rocket (350 bored .030 over) with lots of goodies including a mallory hyfire ignition, carter 750 carburator, edelbrock performer RPM cam, mondello valve train, and hooker super comp headers. the trany is turbo hydro 350 with a shift kit, a high stall conerter, and a hurst V matic shifter. The rearend is a gm 10 bolt with 3.25 to 1 gears. right now it is setted up for a cruiser but i do plan on racing it in the future. a drag strip is being built in my home town of blackfoot and i plan on racing it there. This car has been a daily driver during the summer and i have been taking it to collage at idaho state university.
