John McJunkin's '85 Cutlass
The car came wih a V-6, but has recently been replaced
with a late 307 H.O. roller motor, 200R-4 Trans with shift kit. All the
power exits out the Stainless Flowmaster exhaust, and transmitted with a
3.73 posi.
This car came factory Black, but some chrome removal was
necessary to get that "smooth" look. This car is unique in that it has
"dealer" installed T-Tops. The wheels are Alcoa lookalikes with 255/60/15
on the rear and 215/65/15 on the front.
The car has been lowered all
around, just enough for a good stance and great handling. The interior is
mainly stock with factory buckets and console. Exceptions are the Sony CD
player, B&M Z-Gate shifter and custom wood top plate including drink
holder. A late model 120 M.P.H. Rally Cluster replaced the original 85
M.P.H. unit. And finally the '70 442 four spoke steering wheel. Current
projects also include a '84 sunroof car the love of my life. Also '82
(g-body) Cutlass Cruiser Wagon.
