Brad King's '75 Cutlass Supreme

I had fell in love with this car 3 1/2 years before I owned it. Summer of 93 a buddy of mine bought the car and brought it into the shop at school to work on it. I asked him if he would sell it. He told me $500 and it's yours. I passed it up lacking cash and settled for a Chrysler Laser (JUNK). 3 1/2 years later I see him in at my work and asked him where the Cutlass had gone. I was shocked to find out he still had the car. He had put it away in storage in '93 and left it there to sit (never started either). I gave him $300 cash and took the car away.

When I saw the car originally it was in good shape and still beared the original paint. He decided to desecrate it using primer gray. It was missing the headlight bezels, grilles, inner fenders, 1 center cap, dead alternator, no carb, hardly a front bumper, no chrome trim, and 3 flat tires. The car was towed to my dad's garage for the facelift. The car was sanded down and given 3 coats of Corvette Metallic Blue. The SS III rims were sandblasted and given 2 coats as well. I replaced the grilles, bezels, bumper, tires, rebuilt carb, and many other things.

The car isn't stock and never will be (eg -had air, not anymore) but I still like it for a nice Sunday drive.
