Brent Fields's '71 Cutlass Supreme & '72 Cutlass S

I got my 1971 Supreme in December of 1983 for my first car, it was basically stock with a 350/4bbl. The additions that I made were:
Paint - '80 Corvette Dark Blue Metallic.
Wheels - Cragar S/S
Engine mods - Holley 600 Dbl Pmp Carb, Chet Herbert Cam, Cyclone Headers,
misc. replacement items
Transmission - Fairbanks Trans-Pac
Exhaust - Dual 2.5 inch back to behind rear wheels.

I am the third owner on the 72. It was owned by a local school teacher since '79 and is a complete un-modified car. The interior is Black with Bucket seats and is in excellent original condition. The rear quarters need replaced.


I have the rebuilt 355 (.030 over) in and it's running well. I'm still planning to buy a new carburetor. But, I should be starting bodywork soon. Plans call for a new chrome yellow paint job with a new black vinyl top.
Shown are the before picture with the old 2-barrel and grunge-galore and also there's a picture of the after shot along with the motor only. There's also a shot of myself (on the fender) and my buddy, Scott Evers, dropping the motor and tranny in. The transmission has racing clutches, B&M converter and deep 2" deeper TCI aluminum pan. The Engine has 10.5:1 compression, Lunati cam, Performer RPM intake, double-roller timing chain, MSD Blaster Coil, Holley 600 Vacuum Secondary carb (soon to be a new 750).
