Dave Brode's '64 Cutlass
I bought my '64 20 years ago in a junkyard, for $150.
It ran 12.5 after I installed a near stock '68 Toro motor.
I later cut the firewall, and built the 1.875" X 34" X 3.5" headers to allow me to set
the engine back 10" for better weight distribution.
It then ran 11.61 on 10" M+H street tires and closed 2.5" flowmasters, and 11.41 on slicks
and open exhaust.
The engine is 10.3-1 461 that has "C" heads and Torker intake, that I
ported myself, and is equipped with a Dave Smith cam.
