I bought my 1961 Olds Starfire last year at Hershey, Pa . I had just sold my 1964 98 convertible and was looking for a smaller car , size wise that is and the 61 was just the right size.
Over the winter we, my daughter and I restored it and have driven it 6400 miles this year.

The first trip was too Baltimore, Md. then too Mansfield, Mass . and then out too Denver , Colo. We're from central, Pa. so that's a lot of miles in 2 months time for a 40 year old car.
The car done well at the shows it got a first at the Naoc meet in Mass and a first at the Olds Club of America meet in Denver. plus a third at the aaca meet here in Johnstown, Pa.
Radial tires and skirts hinder the judging effects some what but they make it ride better and look good.

WE'RE PLANNING ON KEEPING IT AND PUTTING IT WITH OUR 57 , 88 HARDTOP CPE IN OUR OLDSMOBILE GARAGE.
