Cliff McFarlane's '63 Oldsmobile Starfire
This is my 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire. It is the only one of my Starfire's
that I have completed the restoration on. It is a pleasure to drive and
it's performance is remarkable for such a big car.
The car has the
original 394 and is well optioned with A/C, P/Steering, P/Seat,
P/Brakes, P/trunk, P/Windows, P/Antenna, reverb, cruise control, tilt,
wonderbar radio, rear window defroster, and posi which is all factory.
The restoration has been done for about 2 years, and it took about 3
years for me to completly restore. I did all the work of replacing both
fenders and both 1/4 panels myself. Both fenders are N.O.S and so is one
1/4 panel. The other quarter panel was rebuilt by an excellent old panel
beater. I know and he made the panel look like it was new. The car is
still all steel and came from Arizona but it's lived about the last 10
years of it's life in Canada and it's staying here with me.
