Subject: re: Manual Trans Conversion
This swap has been done before. Pedals are easy - use any 68-72 Cutlass manual trans pedals. Clutch actuation and Z-bar clearance may be an issue, especially if you have headers. Consider a hydraulic throwout bearing to solve this problem. Your biggest problem will be the crank on your engine. Olds typically did not drill the crank for a pilot bearing if the engine was factory bolted to an automatic.
