Hi,

I have a little debate with a Olds owner who is convinced that the numbers stamped on his 70 W-30, OW trans tag represent the VIN derivative. Everything I have always read or been told is that the VIN is stamped on the trans case not the tag. Please provide some clarification to this little detail. Thanks.
