Just got my new body mounts for '71 Supreme. Several of the larger mounts/bushings have a metal backing plate. Haven't taken the old ones out yet but it seems odd to have metal on the bushing. Does the metal plate face downward toward the ground or upward? Just wondering if I got the right parts.
