over the last few years I've had to replace my oil filter adapter gasket three times. The one between the block and the oil filter adapter/mount. After every replaced new gasket the leak stops for 6 months or so but then returns. Just a nuisance and messes up the driveway. What can I do to finally fix this for good or is something else causing the gasket to fail repeatedly?
