My car is sold. I had 5-6 real prospects within several days. First guy who
could get on a plane bought the car. You guys are the way to go. Process
actually moved so fast I barely got the car ready. Got $24k for it. I
realized early on from how strong the response was that it would sell for
that with no problem. Your site provided national reach to the half dozen or
so knowledgable, qualified buyers across the country who realized they were
looking at one of maybe 1 to 2 of such cars they would be able to buy in a
year. This is competition/capitalism in its purist form. I've done it and

This past Friday I posted an "info wanted"
ad to see if anyone had ever installed shoudler belts of any type into a 72-72
A-body ragtop. (After our shoudler belts spared us in a bad crash in '92, my
wife won't go near a car without them, so I was limited to '67-up hardtops).
By Saturday morning, I had a response that not only could they be installed,
they were actually a factory and dealer installed option on these cars when
new (although in 10+ years, I've never seen an A-body ragtop with them). I
dug deeper into my Fisher body manuals and reference books and found that this
is indeed true - great news. In any case, my 'upgrade' options now include
the 71-72 convertibles that I've always liked but thought I couldn't buy.
