10/23/2008 Right Angled Speedomter Adapter: this is the adapter that attaches to the sleeve which contains the trans. speedometer driven gear which in turn is driven by the trans. mainshaft drive gear. The type/ratio of angled adapter I need is usually found on 4 speed cars equipped with 3:91 or lower gear ratios (4:33, 4:66, and 5:00 ratios). I can use two types of under driven adapters, a 7.850 or 7.330 ratio. Uusually the ratio is stamped on the nut collar or houseing. There are paint codes but I am sure they would be worn off by now! I need these right angled adapters to accuratly calibrate my speedometer to read correctly since I have a 4 speed and using 4:33 gears in the rear end. 9/5/2008 Looking for a base plate from any Lighting Rods shifter, someone cut the cable bracket at the front from one I have. This is the plate that the cable connects to at the front, not the mounting brackets for the shifter to the floor itself used on 83/84 H/O's.
