9/8/2009 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 coupe. First off, yes its real! Yes, its numbers matching! Yes, there is a broadcast sheet! This car is a VERY solid 442 with what is believed to be 34,000 actual miles! The underside of the car is original, this car has not had a frame off, in fact, this car even still has its original red inner fenders and ball joints! There is no "documentation" for the miles,but the previous owners all state that the miles are actual and the car shows it! This car does have its correct motor, OW transmission, correct distributor, aluminum intake, and more. The carburator is correct for a W30, however it is coded for a 71 model. The car has had one repaint of its CORRECT color combination of black with red stripes back in the mid 90's. This is also a radio delete car! It also comes with the dual gate shifter, rear spoiler, Ram Air, and so much more! This car is very straight, with no signs of any metalwork or bondo. 8/26/2009 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Hurst/Olds Indy 500 Pace Car!! 1 of 499 hard tops made! Documented with broadcast sheet. Number's matching 455ci. engine with 400 Turbo trans. & dualgate shifter. This car is extremely solid with no rust issues showing anywhere! The floors, frame, and trunk are all very good! It does indeed run and drive as good as it looks! Put it to the floor and hang on! Block was bored & honed, 040 over, BHJ torque plates, align honed, bottom end equipped w/Mondello molly straps & studs for main caps. TRW forged 2323 pistons used with a total seal ring package, Stock 455 rods which were shot peened, side beams polished & reconditioned with new ARP rod bolts. Stock Nodular crank shot peened & turned 10/10. Fully balanced & blueprinted reciprocating assembly. Cloyes double row timing chain. Fully degreed Engle 25-28 hydraulic cam with custom 3/8 pushrods and Old Performance Products custom valve covers with Moroso pan evacuation system hide Harlan Sharp full roller rockers. Fully ported C heads with heat crossovers filled, exhaust divider welded, new undercut stainless valves, springs, retainers and locks. A high rise Edlebrock Victor intake topped by a HP 950 Holley delivers fuel with the help of complete stainless braided hose -08 fuel system. The mixture is fired off by a MSD Pro billed dist and MSD 6AL box. Keeping it cool is a Be Cool aluminum radiator and CCI electric water pump while on the bottom you'll find a Milodon complete 8 qt oiling system. Lastly this monster exhausts out Custom Kooks 1 *ï¿* coated headers, custom X pipe and high flow 3 inch mufflers with turn downs. Additional race modifications: $3600 of custom race modifications installed by Miller Racing (Wallingford, CT http://www.millerracecars.net/). Jamie Millerï¿*s team installed a custom built 10 point full molly roll cage as well as dual front custom molly seat mounts. Driverï¿*s seat was equipped with a G Force 5 point harness as well as mounts for a window net. Out back they fabricated fuel cell/pump mounts in the trunk. Rear axle was fitted with Jamieï¿*s custom designed sway bar system, Their work was awesome! A summit 10 gallon aluminum fuel cell, Mallory electric fuel pump and Fram spin off fuel filter were mounted on custom mount. An Optima battery is mounted on the trunk floor and is controlled by a safety switch mounted on the lexan tail lamp. 7/9/2009 1966 442 Convertible for sale. This car is a frame off resto on a very clean orginal dry climate 442(factory a/c). The paint and body is done in ppg Viper red. This car has had over 300 hrs of body time blocking it straight. The clear was applied, blocked with 1000 grit and more clear was applied over that. The money I am asking for the car is what the body and paint would cost you to have done (20,000.00) All of the interior is brand new Legendary black upholstery (buckets with console)and door panels and carpet. The dash pad is "just dashes" The frame was completely detailed before assembly. The rear end is Moser with 3.55 gears and a posi. 4 wheel slotted and cross drilled baer brakes. Global west tubular suspension front and rear. Built t400 tranny. 18" american racing/ michelin pilot sports. All trim present and rechromed. The body is bolted on the frame and needs assembly.
